What we collect

If you sign up for the GrocerySnip Weekly Deals Alert, we collect the email address you give us, an optional first name (used only to personalize the email greeting), and an optional ZIP code (used only to surface deals from supermarket chains in your region). That's it for personal information.

Like nearly every website, our servers log standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. We use this only for security, debugging, and aggregate analytics. We do not sell or share these logs.

How we use it

Email addresses are used solely to send you the weekly newsletter you signed up for. We do not send promotional blasts on behalf of third parties. ZIP codes are used to filter the deals shown in your weekly email — they never leave our system.

Third-party services

We display advertising via third-party ad networks. These networks may place cookies in your browser to deliver relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your browser settings or by visiting your ad network's preferences page. We also use a privacy-friendly analytics service to count page views — no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

Some links on GrocerySnip are affiliate links — meaning we may earn a small commission if you sign up for a service we recommend. Clicking those links does not change the price you pay, and the affiliate relationship does not influence which products we recommend.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the weekly email at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any newsletter. You can also email us to request deletion of your information. We will confirm and complete the deletion within seven days.

Updates

If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here and date the change. For material changes — like a new category of data collection — we'll also email subscribers in advance.
